Blueberry Balsamic Barbecue Sauce
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 jar Murrays Wild Blueberry Preserves
1/2 cup coca cola
2 tablespoons A-1 sauce
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
1 tablespoon Bella’s BBQ rub
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan, slowly bring to a boil. Keep uncovered and cook until thickened. About 30 to 40 minutes
Pineapple Mango Whiskey Glaze
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic minced
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Makers Mark Whiskey
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup pineapple mango preserves
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons lemon juice
½ t. black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
Saute garlic in olive oil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer over medium heat until thickened.
